Job Title Test Technician – Manufacturing (Travel: Glasgow) Contract & Hours Full‑time (12‑month fixed‑term contract), 4‑day week (Mon‑Thu) – 37 hours per week (9.25 h per day). Flexible start time (6:00‑7:30 am) and a 30‑minute unpaid lunch. Responsibilities Ensure all incidents are logged correctly and escalated to the Health & Safety leaders as appropriate. Escalate Health and Safety issues to the Work Cell Manager. Perform complex manufacturing operations according to quality documentation and standards. Test, diagnose and repair electronic systems and sub‑assemblies to component level. Adhere to defined company processes when carrying out tasks. Carry out self‑assessment and approval of finished products. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the industry. Detect faults, raise alerts, and contribute to root‑cause analysis and diagnostics. Manage and record build configuration of each product. Use company tools (ERP, Palma, etc.) for product assembly tasks. Qualifications Experience working in a production test department. Electrical/electronic qualification advantageous. Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and identify component‑level faults. Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision. PC literate – proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
