Peri Operative Support Worker

Job Summary An exciting opportunity has become available for a Peri-operative support worker to join the ENT, Breast and Plastic theatre department at CHH. The core purpose of the role is to support and assist the registered practitioner and Theatre team to deliver high standards of intra-operative care to all patients, working within the Operating theatres, transfer areas and recovery. Main Duties of the Job This will include assisting with patient care, cleaning and servicing of equipment, stock monitoring, preparing the theatre environment, transporting patients and equipment to and from the department, clerical duties and completion of electronic records. You will contribute to effective communication between members of the multi-disciplinary team, working directly with peri-operative practitioners, anaesthetists and surgeons, and report directly to the Charge ODP/Nurse and Matron.
