Job Title:Junior Trader – Asian Market Hours (11pm-7am)Location:London, United KingdomJob Type:Full-TimeAbout Us:Founded more than 15 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to more than 450 people operating throughout North America and in Europe. Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser.Responsibilities:Work side by side with senior tradersLearn about proprietary methodologies and trading systems that support an established trading businessReal-time risk management in the form of trade entry and risk layoffsBuild and maintain trading modelsEnhance existing trades; identify and pursue new opportunitiesLiaise between trading group, internal company departments, and OTC relationshipsFurther responsibilities may be driven by the individual’s interests and specific skillsRequirements:2+ years of experience in a trading roleA degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related fieldAbility to work night shift (11pm-7am)Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast paced, high-pressure environmentDetail oriented, organized and diligentStrong understanding of math, probability and statisticsProficient with Excel and VBAProficient with SQL, Python, and statistical modeling; other programming experience is a plusAdvanced aptitude for problem solving and multitaskingDV is not accepting unsolicitedresumesfrom search firms.
