About The Role In your role as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. Responsibilities Plan and implement the kinds of activities that will delight our Residents. Help the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events. Support Residents in gaining confidence to socialise more effectively. Develop new activity ideas based on Residents’ hobbies. Engage the care home team in activity planning and delivery. Ensure all activities are conducted with a sense of kindness above all else. Qualifications & Skills Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. Strong planning, organisational and IT skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills – considerate and kind when interacting with Residents and co‑workers. Knowledge of safeguarding and the ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect. Willingness to undertake safeguarding training and report concerns appropriately.
