CFO Insights is part of United Media (https://www.united-media.com/) which focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc.

As our Finance Manager you get the unique opportunity to be a key player in building one of our portfolio companies. By providing you with the ownership of our finances, we want to constantly push you out of your comfort zone. You’ll be working out of our HQ in London and to ensure a never-ending growth curve, we provide you with:

  2. A chance to work closely together with one of our CEO’s on our finances and budgets as well as report to investors on a monthly basis and participate in board meetings.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities will vary; however, some of them will be to:

  1. Prepare annual budgets for effective financial planning.
  2. Provide weekly updates on cash flow.
  3. Conduct monthly P&L and cash updates for comprehensive financial insights.
  4. Evaluate and implement cost optimisation programs.
  5. Review intercompany and external loans to ensure optimal financial health.
  6. Offer support to sales and operations teams.
  7. Lead the Working Capital responsibilities.
  8. Manage the Human Resources Financial Planning responsibilities.

What we expect from you

You possess an unparalleled work ethic with a high sense of urgency. You have a relentless drive and desire to be the very best at what you do. You take ownership of everything you do, are proactive and follow through on commitments. Moreover, you’re humble and you share our passion for building and executing new businesses. Furthermore, we expect that you have:

  1. Accounting background. Ideally, more than two years of experience from a Big Four firm.
  2. Experience as CFO, Head of finance or Finance Director from a small or medium-sized business.
  3. UK working permit.
  4. Media and Conferences industry background preferred but not mandatory.
