We’re growing rapidly and looking for a motivated Warehouse Shift Manager to help us continue our successIn this key role, you’ll be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations of our warehouse, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your experience in people management will help us meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and drive operational efficiency. If you’re passionate about motivating teams, optimizing processes, and delivering exceptional service, we want youShift Pattern: Wednesday – SaturdayHours: Between 07 : 00 AM – 06 : 00 PMWhat you’ll be doingLead with Passion: Manage and motivate your team to ensure productivity targets are met and customer deadlines are achieved.Forecast and Plan: Assist in the planning and forecasting of staff requirements, including rota management and annual leave planning to ensure we’re always fully staffed and ready to go.Optimize Operations: Ensure all labelling, sortation, and warehouse team productivity targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards at all times.Ensure Smooth Handover: Provide a comprehensive ‘hand‑over report’ to the oncoming Shift Manager to maintain seamless operations.Create a Winning Team Culture: Ensure all new staff receive a thorough induction, and provide continuous training to both staff and contractors, enabling them to perform their roles effectively, efficiently, and safely.Champion Safety: Make sure that all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training, ensuring a safe work environment for everyone.What we need from youWe’re looking for people who are ready for a fast paced environment, get their kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today's stuff done, whilst building for the future. And do them brilliantly.Warehouse Operations & LogisticsPrior experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.Understanding of inventory management, order fulfilment, and quality control.Knowledge of warehouse processes like labelling, sorting, and stock control.People Management & LeadershipExperience leading and motivating teams in a fast‑paced environment.Ability to manage performance, set productivity targets, and provide feedback.Experience with shift planning, scheduling, and managing workloads.Process Optimization & EfficiencyExperience improving operational efficiency and meeting performance KPIs.Ability to analyse workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.Familiarity with using technology or systems to streamline warehouse processes.Health & Safety ComplianceKnowledge of workplace health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.Experience ensuring compliance with safety standards and conducting training.Ability to manage risks and create a safe working environment.Communication & ReportingStrong communication skills to provide clear handover reports and team updates.Ability to train new staff and ensure proper onboarding.Experience handling operational challenges and working collaboratively with other departments.Perks of the job31 Days Annual LeaveA great pension schemeCycle to Work SchemeEye CareOngoing training and development programs to help you grow your careerThe InPost processWe pride ourselves on our candidate experience.
