Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Washington on a 12 month contract. Rate £44.40 per hour inside IR35 The Role This role is responsible for the development of manufacturing processes from concept through to commissioning and qualification. You must be able to demonstrate a proven capability in developing manufacturing processes including system integration. Develop new manufacturing processes, in line with Engineering Plans and Budgets. Technical solutions and processes must be robust, timely, cost-effective and meet Customer expectations Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with industry standard controls that ensure long term process stability, including: Lean Principles, Process Control Plans, PFMEAs; plus awareness of Programmable Logic Controls and Visual Management Systems on automated process lines Knowledge & Skills Have a good technical and manufacturing base, show initiative and be able to work under pressure Prioritise a constantly varying workload, in parallel with maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines Experience and demonstrated knowledge of materials processing Minimum HNC / HND Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or equivalent Background In this exciting opportunity to work for a global business that has developed a strategy of working closely with its contingent workforce, you can expect to: Work on complex, cutting-edge projects Achieve a work/life balance Develop your skills APPLY NOW If this sounds like the role for you, we'd love to hear from you Send your CV to Stella. #J-18808-Ljbffr
