At our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry. The site is a $300m+ turnover Repair and Overhaul facility employing more than 300 staff across two operational modules. An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to hire Electronics Technicians to support our continued growth onsite. What You Will Do Support the maintenance, fault-finding, and safe operation of bespoke test equipment critical to aerospace product testing. The role will assist experienced engineers in maintaining a wide range of specialist electronic and electrical test rigs, helping to ensure equipment uptime during the absence of a key team member. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on electrical and electronic test equipment. Support basic fault-finding and assist in the repair of test rigs under supervision. Undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks as per the schedule. Assist with equipment containing: Electronic switching and signal routing components Custom electrical harnesses and connectors Power supplies, meters, and control systems Environmental and vibration test systems Complete documentation for work carried out in accordance with site procedures. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area. Work alongside engineers and other technicians to develop skills and contribute to team effectiveness. Preferred Skills & Experience Hands‑on experience with electrical/electronic equipment in an industrial or technical environment. Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety. Comfortable using hand tools, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment. Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior engineers. Ability to read simple wiring diagrams and follow procedures. Good attitude toward safety, quality, and teamwork. Desirable Experience in a manufacturing or test environment. Familiarity with electrical connectors, sensors, or measurement systems. Exposure to software‑controlled systems or test equipment. Qualifications Minimum: ONC / Level 3 Diploma / relevant apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience. Desirable: HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
