Night Care Assistant – Cedar Foundation Ref: 25-358-NCA-K-WEB Location: The Karuna Home, 3-5 Minorca Dr, Carrickfergus BT38 8WP Salary: £12.60 per hour Hours: 20 hours per week (night shifts 10pm‑8am weekdays and weekends) Contract: Permanent Role Summary: Assist residents with activities of daily living and facilitate inclusion in a broad range of activities. Provide personal care and support to service users in a team‑based environment. Work flexibly, including unsociable hours and public holidays on a rotational basis. Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living and facilitate inclusion of service users in a broad range of activities. Support service users with identified personal care and support needs. Benefits: Annual Leave 5.6 weeks pro rata, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 5 years and 7 weeks after 10 years. Paid breaks. Free car parking, tea and coffee. Paid annual NISCC registration fees. Accredited organisation with paid training and learning opportunities, including QCF Level 3. Enhanced rate of pay for working on statutory days. Auto‑enrolment pension scheme, 5% employee contribution, 4% employer contribution. Special offers at over 600 leading high street and online retailers. Essential Criteria: Minimum of 6 months caring experience (paid employment or personal caring responsibilities).
