Your work will directly impact the comfort and efficiency of our clients' spaces, contributing to JLL's commitment to creating optimal work environments.What your day-to-day will look like:maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of low voltage electrical systems, including but not limited to lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, security systems, emergency lighting, and access control.Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing and inspection of low voltage electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and relevant codes. Complete necessary documentation and reports accurately.Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve faults in low voltage electrical systems, using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Carry out repairs and replacements as necessary to ensure uninterrupted functionality.Preventive Maintenance: Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime, increase system reliability, and extend the lifespan of low voltage electrical systems. Create and maintain maintenance schedules.Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Comply with electrical regulations, codes, and standards to ensure safety and minimize risks. Report any hazards or incidents promptly.Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction. Provide guidance and support to junior team members when required. Documentation andReporting: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, and equipment inventory. Ensure that relevant documentation and records are up to date.Requirements:C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical Installation (Or Equivalent)C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (Test & Inspection cert preferred)18th editionStrong Electrical & HVAC experienceKnowledge of heating and air conditioning systemsKnowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs when requiredSound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations about maintenance activitiesMust be prepared to work out of hours when requiredHave good communication and organisation skillsHave a positive ‘can do’ attitudeMust have a full UK driving licenseAbility to work on own or as part of a teamAt JLL, we believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.
