Commis Chef

Job Responsibilities Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, grating, and assembling ingredients. Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen station, including equipment, utensils, and work area. Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. Learn and develop cooking techniques and skills under the guidance of experienced chefs. Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the kitchen. Critical Skills & Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent culinary training. Prior experience as a kitchen assistant or similar role is preferred. Basic understanding of culinary techniques and food preparation. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude. You will be required to provide a valid proof of Right to Work in the UK. This can be a valid passport OR birth certificate along with your National Insurance documentation (both must be present OR another form of valid right to work documentation.
