In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and commercialization of our innovative products, from concept to launch. As a Test Design Engineer - Technical lead, you will be responsible for the design, development, and verification of test solutions for our products. You will utilize your engineering expertise and creativity to create robust and efficient test systems, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of our products.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping innovative test concepts and designs using appropriate tools and equipment.Performing design creation, analysis, and verification.Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product life cycle, from conceptualisation to sustaining engineering.Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation in accordance with quality and change management procedures.Actively contributing to a Lean culture by applying Lean Sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste, and improve processes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field10+ years of experience in test design engineering or a related fieldProficiency in LabVIEW and TestStandExperience with automated test systems, functional testing, environmental testingA solid understanding of Lean Sigma principles and toolsExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsOther Qualifications & SkillsYou will have the ability to work in a Cross-Discipline team environmentUnderstand Structured DesignAbility to develop good working relationships with team members and customersLab test/measurement equipmentLab toolsGreat communication skillsWhy you will love it?At Plexus, we’re at our best when opportunities are met with passion, open communication, and teamwork.
