Delivering your services, alongside a dedicated group of medical examiners and other clinical staff, your work will contribute directly to our national security effort and make a huge difference in the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking for a different kind of clinical engagement but will still make the most of their skills and experience.The main location for this role is Grantham with options of Peterborough and Nottingham. We are looking for applications to commit to at least 3 days (24 hours) of work per week.At offer you will receive a Capita Worker Contract for Services and under a mutuality of obligation, will be offered days of work based on the availability you provide and work you acceptWhat you'll be doing:Conducting clinical work, including face‑to‑face medical assessments assessed against the Tri‑service entry medical standardAssessing candidate's medical records as part of the medical assessment processUpdating the Capita Service Entry Medical Report (SEMR) with the findings and results of the candidate medical assessment including medical records and the face‑to‑face examinationAssessing the clinical conditions of candidates to determine their fitness for entry into the Royal Air ForceMaking recommendations to the Royal Air Force colleagues on the medical suitability of the candidatesMaintaining GMC registration, licence to practise, accreditation and skill mixWhat we're looking for:A fully GMC qualified medical practitioner with licence to practise, without restrictionIT literacy and experience with Microsoft programmesFlexibility to travelExcellent organisational skillsThe ability to work effectively and efficiently to tight deadlinesAn effective communicator in person and on paperWhat's in it for you?Competitive hourly rate of £52 per hourStatutory Holiday PayWorker engagement arrangement offering flexibilityStatutory benefits including auto enrolment pensionFull training givenYou’ll get the chance to explore employment opportunities within Capita and follow your chosen career path anywhere in the Capita group.
