You can find our customers across the UK, with exciting ambitions to scale internationally and continue transforming how people care for their dogs. 🚀 Your Mission As our People & Culture Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we grow—both through our people and our culture. You'll partner with leaders to build and sustain a workplace where our teams feel empowered, connected, and inspired by our mission. From leading our recruitment strategy and ensuring we attract the best talent, to supporting performance, wellbeing, and engagement, you'll bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery. Reporting to the SLT, you'll collaborate across Operations, Tech, Marketing, and Finance. You'll help us strengthen our people foundations as we scale—ensuring we maintain the agility, warmth, and values that make Years special, while growing in a sustainable, people‑first way. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to key People & Culture initiatives—including engagement, learning, DE&I, wellbeing, and culture‑building programmes Provide pragmatic, people‑centred advice on employee relations, performance, and change management Use people data and insights to inform strategy, spot trends, and continuously improve the employee experience Champion our culture—ensuring that as we scale, we remain a values‑driven, high‑performing, and connected team Lead recruitment and talent‑acquisition across all functions, ensuring we attract, hire, and onboard exceptional people aligned with our mission and values Partner with leaders to forecast hiring needs, shape job profiles, and deliver a seamless, inclusive hiring experience Coach and support hiring managers to build strong interview capability and embed equitable hiring practices Act as a trusted partner to leaders and managers, driving engagement, performance, and development across their teams Support organisation design and workforce planning that aligns with our growth and business goals What You'll Bring Proven experience as a People Partner or HR Business Partner with hands‑on experience leading recruitment and talent‑acquisition in a fast‑paced, scaling business Strong understanding of full employee lifecycle management—from attracting and hiring talent to engagement, development, and retention Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK employment law and best practice in people operations and recruitment A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset—able to balance immediate delivery with long‑term strategic priorities Exceptional relationship‑building, coaching, and influencing skills, with a high degree of empathy and commercial awareness Data‑driven approach—you use insights to guide decisions and measure impact A love for great culture and a desire to build workplaces where people thrive and feel connected to the mission Alignment with what we stand for at Years—helping dogs (and their humans) live healthier, happier lives. 🐾 Benefits / What's In It For You Extensive health care cover including full cancer coverage and a choice of hospitals or consultants (AXA top package) Annual £250.00 Learning & Development budget for courses, books or other self‑learn activities Annual £100.00 Wellbeing budget Up to 2 weeks working abroad per year (selected roles) Monthly recognition through our Yappa of The Month programme 1 Volunteer day per year—dog‑themed or not: it's your choice Subsidised employee groups—from five a side to padel—lots to get involved in or the chance to start your own group Quarterly subsidised team events—from Axe throwing, crazy golf to cocktail making Exclusive discounts on Years and Years treats for yourself and friends/family Lunch & Learn programme—from dog first aid to financial savviness we cover all kinds of topics Casual dress Your birthday off or a different day if it falls on a non‑working day Ability to sell any unused holiday back to Years at the end of the Holiday Year (maximum 1 working week) #J-18808-Ljbffr
