Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Blackpool)
Full-time | Immediate Start
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the Blackpool area. This is a full-time role working with a Year 8 pupil with ASD, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 8 pupil with ASD, ensuring they are engaged and supported in their learning.
Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies.
Promote independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
Support the pupil’s social and emotional development in both classroom and wider school settings.
Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally ASD.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
