Capital Analyst Please note this position is based in London and will be the contractual location of the successful candidate. Other locations cannot be considered. Overview The Aviva Investors Finance team holds a leading role in building and running a financial framework that links Aviva Investors strategy, operations, resource allocation and performance management. The role will support the Capital Reporting Manager and Senior Finance Manager in delivering high quality capital and liquidity reporting to internal and external stakeholders. The internal MI will enable management to make informed decisions around capital and liquidity. The role also contributes to the management of the global capital and liquidity position of Aviva Investors to ensure that no regulatory breaches occur. The successful candidate will support the Capital Team with new capital transactions including capital injections, loans, capital reductions and dividends. Additionally they will prepare quarterly capital metrics such as Return on Capital, Operating Capital Generation and Solvency Ratios and conduct financial risk assessments to support the Internal Capital and Risk Assessment (ICARA) process. Responsibilities Deliver high quality capital and liquidity reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Support the management of the global capital and liquidity position of Aviva Investors. Assist with new capital transactions including capital injections, loans, capital reductions and dividends. Prepare quarterly capital metrics such as Return on Capital, Operating Capital Generation and Solvency Ratios. Conduct financial risk assessments to support the ICARA process. Qualifications Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). Understanding of FCA and PRA regulatory reporting requirements and EU-wide and global regulatory capital directives and requirements. Strong business acumen coupled with excellent project management and facilitation skills. Good understanding of the risk and control environment and the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR). Ability to make decisions, use independent judgment, establish priorities and work effectively on multiple initiatives.
