Portfolio Payrolls are currently working with a large organisation in the Altrincham area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll expert to join their team. They provide an excellent working environment, work from home opportunity and other great incentivesThe title of the role may change depending on the level at which you join the team.Key Duties/Tasks:Technical skills including Payroll System experience & excel skillsYou will get an opportunity to work on bureau/umbrella payrollDriving deadlines and check payroll of the more junior team membersSupport the busy payroll department high volume starters and leaversExperience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patternsMust have very strong Excel (VLookUps/Pivot Tables)High volume, fast pacedUsing Sage 50 payroll systemDelve into international payroll and UK payrollProvide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queriesEnsuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Reconciliations.Opportunity to get involved with significant payroll projectsManual calculationsDesirable skills and attributes:3+ years payroll experience ideallyPrevious payroll experience in a fast paced and high-volume environment in industries such as recruitment payrollBureau/umbrella payroll experience preferredA keen eye for detailEnjoy working within a teamMotivated to progress to managementSupervisory experience advantageousExcellent communicator as you will be answering queriesConfident with ExcelSage 50 payroll system experience ideallyCIPP advantageous not essentialBenefitsEmployer matched pensionparking on-siteUp to 24 days paid holiday each year plus public holidays.Hybrid working post probationBirthday offFlexible workingStudy supportGreat incentives and socials eventsNormal working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am to 5.30pm with 1-hour unpaid break.To hear more about this fantastic opportunity please feel free to give me a call on (phone number removed) and ask for Liam.
