PM Cleaning Operative

Job Summary Join to apply for the PM Cleaning Operative role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. The position is a permanent, full‑time contract with a total weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, spread across a Monday‑Friday shift pattern (2 pm – 10 pm). The hourly rate of pay is £12.45. Location: McCormick (UK), 5 Forli Strada, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, PE7 3HH. Responsibilities Work primarily in the factory, ensuring all equipment is clean, well‑maintained and safe, and that all agreed SLAs are met. Maintain knowledge of the designated cleaning area and carry out cleaning duties as required. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals in compliance with Health and Safety requirements. Complete all training required for the cleaning role. Work effectively within a team and demonstrate initiative when working independently. Qualifications Ability to communicate and read basic English. Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential. Flexible approach to the role. Open, honest, self‑driven and determined.
