Our partnership with this established & market leading food manufacturer is going from strength to strength and we are presently tasked to help them find a Head of Engineering for one of their key sites in the N/W of England. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of an established Engineering Team and to really drive long term strategy, lead on all future projects and to continue to develop a high performing culture.

The Role

This role is part a of successful senior leadership team and you will be challenged to deliver in a number of key areas including reliability, efficiencies, team development, succession planning and budgetary control, Health & Safety, Culture and Site Compliance.

You will be assessed against a number of key deliverables, along with your inspirational leadership skills and delivery of projects in line with strategic business objectives.

This role will offer the successful candidate full autonomy and the opportunity to put their stamp on the role, we need a real leader that can bring a career of skills and experience into this role so that they can add real value long term. This role would be ideal for a talented Maintenance Manager looking to take a step up or someone looking for their next Engineering Management role.

The Candidate:

* Holds a degree within Engineering or a relevant qualification

* Experience manging an Engineering team within Food Manufacturing is essential

* Budgetary Management experience

* Knowledge of C.I & Lean Manufacturing principles

* Strategic Planning

* Ability to work under pressure

* Must have full UK working rights, no sponsorship support
