Recovery Support Worker

We are seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team and enable service users to live a fulfilling life. You will work closely with individual service users and their wider support networks to deliver the highest level of quality care, consistently engaging with their individual needs and promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing.ResponsibilitiesDevelop warm and trusting relationships with service users, enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest.Support service users with domestic tasks and complete welfare checks.Work within agreed risk management guidelines and assist service users in reducing harm to themselves or others.Encourage service users to identify their strengths and interests, while supporting them in accessing social, leisure, education and work activities.QualificationsExperience in working with individuals with alcohol and/or substance misuse, as well as those who struggle with self-harm, is an essential requirement for this role.Support and DevelopmentYou will have excellent line management support and development from a CQC-registered manager and Senior Support Worker. The role is fully supported through a probation period, with consistent supervision and access to training to assist your learning and development.
