Being part of this endeavour requires hard work and commitment to our values. We need a top‑notch Operations Controller to ensure continued growth and improvement. This is where you come in We are looking to recruit an Operations Controller to join our team in Oxford. As an Operations Controller, you will manage day‑to‑day courier resources to maximise efficiencies across the network, adhering to customer SLAs and Health and Safety parameters. You will support the Service Centre Manager in creating a KPI‑driven environment focused on service and revenue. Key responsibilities include: Direct communications regarding courier workload courteously and efficiently. Monitor jobs through to proof‑of‑delivery, prioritising platinum customers. Implement and maintain Service Level Agreements (customer and centre‑specific). Proactively inform clients and colleagues of delays or issues. Ensure fleet size meets demand, recruiting when required. Support onboarding of couriers, ensuring compliance and a professional image. Key skills & qualifications: Experience managing and exceeding customer expectations. Independent initiative without constant supervision. Clear communication with clients, couriers and suppliers. Highly organised and punctual; solid attendance record. Previous transport industry experience. Solid geographical knowledge. Computer literate. Successful candidates will undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Conditional job offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
