Giving confidence to project leaders across MS Dynamics Business Change Programmes - D365 FinOps and CE As a Lead Azure Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and governing the end‑to‑end cloud solution architecture for a large‑scale web application hosted on Microsoft Azure. Working within a major consultancy on behalf of a leading gas company, you will ensure the solution meets all business, technical, security, and compliance requirements while providing architectural leadership across the delivery lifecycle. Essential Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services. Proven ability to design enterprise‑scale cloud solutions within complex, regulated environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Desirable Skills & Experience Extensive experience with Azure networking and security services (e.g., Azure Front Door, APIM, Azure Gateway, Azure Defender, Qualys). Expertise in integration patterns, API‑driven architectures, and cloud security best practices. Experience designing, reviewing, and validating Azure and/or GCP architectures. Strong understanding of NFRs and ability to define security baselines. Knowledge of cloud cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management processes, and compliance standards. Prior experience navigating Design Authority governance and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent). This is an inside IR35 contract role working via umbrella company so please only apply for this role if you are eligible and prepared to work on this basis.
