Junior Commercial Counsel Vista is the leading private aviation company for Fortune 500 corporations, governments, and ultra-high net worth individuals around the globe. We are looking for a talented Junior Commercial Counsel to support the growth of Vista’s commercial business across its multiple brands – including VistaJet and XO. The principal focus of this position will be the drafting and negotiation of Vista’s flagship product, the VistaJet Program, but will include extensive opportunities to support commercial and related in‑house projects throughout the Vista Group. The ideal candidate will share Vista’s entrepreneurial spirit, embody a “can do” attitude, and embrace every opportunity to move the business forward while developing their skills as an in‑house lawyer. This is an exciting opportunity to join the international legal team of a dynamic, high‑growth company named one of the world’s most valuable Unicorns. Draft, review, and edit commercial legal agreements (including charter and flight service contracts, loyalty and referral programs, marketing and publicity agreements, website and app T&Cs, licenses, leases, vendor contracts, SLAs, MSAs, NDAs, etc.) Negotiate agreements directly with third parties, including clients and their counsel. Develop a solid understanding of the company’s product and business goals. Provide pragmatic, deal‑minded support and advice to a global business team. Assist with the global litigation portfolio (letters before action, cease & desists, e‑discovery, settlement and releases, etc.) Review and approve customer‑facing marketing materials and communications. Use and maintain the company’s document, template, and contract repositories. Triage legal queries from all parts of the business, track requests, and update the team’s project tracker. Prepare and present tailored training sessions as part of our in‑house training program. Monitor legal developments, conduct legal research, and advise stakeholders. Support a wide range of projects and teams on an as‑needed basis, from HR and Tax to Aircraft Maintenance and Operations. Qualified attorney (solicitor or barrister/advocate) admitted to practice law in England & Wales or Scotland. Minimum 2‑3 years in a similar role and/or with relevant law firm training. Demonstrable contract drafting and negotiating experience. Commercially minded dealmaker with a lawyer’s attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to translate legal matters to non‑legal audience. Excellent English communication skills both orally and in writing. Self‑starter; able to work autonomously from time‑to‑time. Able to monitor emails during peak periods, including evenings and weekends. Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges / new areas of law. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with English and/or New York consumer and commercial laws. Experience working directly with a sales team. Experience working in an international company / with an international client base, particularly EU and UK. Knowledge of (or strong interest in) aviation, luxury and travel industries.
