This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant school that prides itself on its nurturing and inclusive environment. The school has a strong community spirit, and the team is committed to providing high‑quality education and care for all children in the Early Years setting. The role is a two‑term placement with the potential to extend into the next academic year, or even lead to a direct contract with the school. The Role Teaching a Reception class within a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Planning and delivering engaging, child‑centred lessons that meet the developmental needs of all learners in EYFS. Using the Early Years Framework to support and extend children's learning, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. Supporting children with additional needs, and working closely with the SENDCo and support staff to create tailored learning plans. Building strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development through play‑based learning and structured activities. Assessing children's progress and providing timely feedback to parents and staff. What We're Looking For A passionate EYFS Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and a commitment to high‑quality early years education. Experience in teaching in an EYFS setting, with a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum. A reflective and flexible teacher who can adapt learning to meet the diverse needs of the children. A compassionate, caring, and creative approach to teaching, with the ability to bring fun and excitement into the classroom. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents. The ability to provide two professional references.
