This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable work with the potential to progress from temporary to permanent employment.As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods throughout the warehouse, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general warehouse duties including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goodsSafely move, store, and organise stock within the warehouse using appropriate manual handling techniquesConduct stock replenishment and maintain accurate inventory recordsSort and process goods in accordance with warehouse procedures and company standardsUse material handling equipment safely and competently as requiredKeep work areas clean, tidy, and well‑organised at all timesWork efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlinesAdhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and warehouse protocolsCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsComply with all relevant UK health and safety regulations and company proceduresAbout YouAbility to work early morning shifts (03:00‑05:00 start times, finishing 10:00‑12:00)Own transport or local to site - Due to early start times and shift pattern, own transport is essential or you must be local to the Nottingham sitePhysical capability to perform manual handling duties and warehouse workReliable and punctual with strong attendance recordAbility to work Tuesday to Saturday consistentlyWillingness to learn and follow warehouse procedures and safety protocolsGood teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectivelyRight to work in the UKShift DetailsDays: Tuesday - SaturdayHours: Early morning shift, starting between 03:00 - 05:00 and finishing between 10:00 - 12:00Pattern: 5 days per weekNote: Exact shift start and finish times to be confirmed with successful candidatesPayFrom £12.21 per hourOvertime rates available for additional hoursBenefitsStable, ongoing temporary work with potential for permanent contractEarly shifts mean afternoons freeCompetitive hourly pay with overtime opportunitiesProfessional working environmentTraining and support providedOpportunity to progress to permanent employment for strong performersWhat We’re Looking ForWe are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
