Night Veterinary Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Night Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Bradley Stoke Hospital. In this role, you will assist veterinary nurses, provide care in the kennels, clean cages, launder bedding, and feed and walk the dogs. Responsibilities Support veterinary nurses during night shifts. Provide care to animals in kennels. Clean cages and maintain kennel hygiene. Launder bedding and ensure supplies are ready for tomorrow. Feed, walk, and monitor dogs during the shift. Key Skills and Qualifications Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Proficient in IT and call handling. Experience or genuine interest in working with animals. A full, clean driving licence; must be able to drive ambulance to other clinics if required. Proactive, independent, and willing to take initiative. Shift Pattern / Working Hours You will work Monday and Tuesday nights, working 8 pm – 8 am on alternate weeks. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary. 6.6 weeks annual leave.
