You’ll play a key role in managing resources, ensuring projects are delivered within time, cost, and quality standards, and building strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to apply technical expertise, leadership skills, and innovative thinking to deliver best-value outcomes and contribute to the transformation of mobility infrastructure. Coaching and development of other team members to share knowledge, increase the team’s skill level and improve service delivery.ResponsibilitiesDeliver a number of small to medium cost projects and assignments or significant components of larger assignments, ensuring appropriate use of resources and budgets to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlinesProvide advice to colleagues on risk management, compliance and associated behaviours, to ensure adherence to Arcadis’ risk and compliance processesPresent project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impactedAnalyse and review data and documents to collate key themes and trends, using this analysis to provide advice and make recommendations to support cost and commercial management decision-makingUse knowledge and industry best practice to analyse existing processes and policiesShare knowledge and provide insightful recommendations to assist service improvement and innovationInteract across the organisation to support collaboration with the cost management function and ensure projects/programmes meet cost expectationsProvide specialist technical advice to senior management on cost/commercial management issues, offering solutions and sharing knowledge to support deliveryManage relationships with clients and external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and create new business opportunitiesDemonstrable understanding of clients’ key objectives within the sectorSupport and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects/programmes typically ranging between £1m and £40mLeadership: strong people management and motivational skills with experience building and managing client relationships at senior levelsQualifications & ExperienceProven track record in delivering medium/large projects across an entire lifecycle, with expertise in cost and commercial managementImpact: a passion for creating value and driving success in complex, high-profile projectsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant disciplineProfessional qualification or chartered status to RICS or CIOBCSCS card holderStrong construction technology and cost planning experience is preferredWhy ArcadisWe enable you to do meaningful work and empower you to bring your best self to work every day.
