Due to expansion, they now seek a skilled Structural Engineer with over 5 years of industry experience.As a Structural Engineer, you'll excel in steelwork design, seamlessly integrating with our team and confidently engaging with clients. Proficiency in Tekla Fastrak Design Suite and AutoCAD is preferred, alongside a solid background in structural steel design and relevant codes.ResponsibilitiesConnection design for structural steelwork, ranging from 5 to 1000 tonnes, adhering to British Standards and EurocodesUtilize software and manual techniques for design, steel connectionsAttend design meetings, prepare estimates, and refine tender designsCollaborate with architects and contractors, offering insights on design implications and cost-effective solutionsCoordinate with internal and external drafting teamsManage projects from tender to completionRequirementsStrong understanding of structural steelworkMinimum 5 years' design experience in a relevant fieldProficient in supplementary hand calculationsFamiliarity with Eurocodes and steelwork fabricationExperience with Tekla Fastrak Design SuiteFor more information please get in touch with Sharon O'Donnell at The Highfield Company #J-18808-Ljbffr
