Our client, a leading player in the aerospace industry, is seeking a talented Electronics Test Engineer to join their dynamic team in Marston Green, Birmingham. Position Summary:

As an Electronics Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the setup, commissioning, and support of production test rigs for Engine Control systems. This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including test rig design, software development, fault diagnostics, and equipment validation through advanced data analysis techniques.

Summary:

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with potential to be extended
Location: Marston Green, Birmingham
Pay Rate: Negotiable
Hours: 37 per week - Monday to Friday either 7-3 or 8-4Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Asset Care team to ensure test equipment is available, compliant, and calibrated.
Develop, modify, and validate innovative test rigs.
Maintain and enhance various software standards (e.g., NI TestStand, LabView, LabWindows, C, C#).
Diagnose issues and test failures related to test software/hardware, controls, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
Produce technical reports capturing data analysis and justifications for approval.Requirements:

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
Proven experience in test engineering and programming, with a strong background in electronics
A methodical approach with the ability to document and present findings effectively to stakeholders.
Excellent teamwork skills, combined with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Strong written, reporting, and communication skills.
Awareness of HS&E regulations related to Test EquipmentThis role offers the unique chance to work in a vibrant environment where no two days are the same.
