We’re looking for a proactive and growth-orientated HSE professional to join us as our Health, Safety & Environment Manager. This is a pivotal role at an exciting time of review and transformation across our operations. You’ll be instrumental in helping shape and implement new HSE strategies, policies, and systems that truly embed a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the business. What You’ll Be Doing Lead the development and implementation of a refreshed HSE strategy and improvement plan. Drive engagement with employees and senior stakeholders to build a strong safety-first culture. Review and modernise existing HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with legislative and ISO standards. Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations—ensuring effective root cause analysis and follow-through. Coordinate training and upskilling to empower teams with best practices in HSE. Lead initiatives to proactively manage environmental risks and responsibilities. Act as the key contact for HSE matters, providing expert advice and support to all levels of the business. What We’re Looking For NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum); working towards or willing to gain NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 5 qualification). Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and practical implementation experience. Proven ability to engage, influence and support stakeholders at all levels. A growth mindset—someone who relishes a challenge and sees opportunity in change. Previous experience within an FMCG, logistics, warehousing or multi-site environment is beneficial. Confidence to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally. Experience with ISO management systems and internal/external audits.
