We are working with a well-established and reputable construction group, who is seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This is a rare start-from-scratch opportunity, ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, develop, and progress within a supportive environment.This role sits within a business known for delivering high-quality civil engineering, groundworks, and infrastructure projects across the region. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and commercial managers, gaining hands-on exposure to live projects from day one.ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior QS, you will be supported to develop skills across the full project lifecycle, including:Assisting with preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contractsSupporting the measurement and valuation of works on siteMaintaining accurate records and assisting with monthly reportingHelping prepare interim applications and final accountsConducting site visits to monitor progress and work alongside operational teamsProviding general commercial support across projects as requiredEnsuring all work complies with company processes, health & safety, and industry standardsAbout YouThis role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about starting or developing a career in Quantity Surveying.You May BeA recent graduate in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management orCurrently studying part-time and looking for an employer to support your development orA motivated individual with transferable skills who wants to retrain in a commercial construction roleYou WillHave strong numerical and analytical skillsPossess excellent communication and organisational abilitiesBe proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a teamBe confident using IT systems (Excel in particular)Hold a full UK driving licence or learning to driveLNKD1_UKTJ #J-18808-Ljbffr
