Lead Pharmacist – Pharmacy Operations

About The Role We are seeking a clinically confident and experienced Lead Pharmacist to take ownership of pharmacy leadership at our Scimitar Park site. This is a non-patient-facing role, focused on high-cost, specialist medications not commonly seen in community pharmacy. As the site’s Lead Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in medicines management, clinical decision-making, and regulatory compliance. You’ll bring strong clinical judgement, leadership capability, and the confidence to make decisions based on experience and best practice. Key Responsibilities Act as the Responsible Pharmacist for the site Provide clinical leadership and oversight of pharmacy operations Lead and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians Ensure compliance with GPhC standards and regulatory frameworks Support medicines management and clinical governance initiatives Collaborate with internal teams to drive service excellence Contribute to audits, quality improvement, and business projects What a Typical Day Looks Like Leading the pharmacy team and ensuring smooth daily operations Making clinical decisions based on best practice and experience Supporting staff development through mentoring and coaching Liaising with QA, compounding, and customer service teams Driving continuous improvement in pharmaceutical care Why Lloyds Clinical?
