If you're a hands-on professional who thrives on delivering continuous improvements of plant mechanical systems ensuring mechanical standards are maintained in a high-speed production environment, this is your chance to make a significant impact.In this crucial role, you'll be our go-to expert to keep abreast of the day-to-day technical issues working from the FMOS process within the factory, helping to maintain the individual departments targets in line with business priorities. To continuously improve plant and equipment to world class levels of reliability, availability and safety whilst providing excellent customer service.What are we looking for?Technical capability and hands-on experience with multiple types of production machinesPrevious experience either in a shift or maintenance technician roleExcellent communication skillsPrevious process and continuous improvement experienceResults-driven individual who excels at problem-solving, collaborates effectively with others, and can easily prioritize diverse workloads.What would be your key responsibilities?Maintain regular communication with shift-based production and maintenance teams to understand and collate any breakdown or reliability issuesDrive performance improvement projects and cross functional improvement meetings weeklyCreatively identify and make plant improvements, including regularly reviewing planned maintenance schedules for improved effectivenessProvide technical advice, problem solving assistance and to support operational areas, by defining equipment performance requirements and repair specificationsDrive and support continuous improvement in the business by effectively using root cause analysisCoordinates activities with internal customers including maintenance and operations management, engineering, and external contracted resources.Drive actions and initiatives related to Planned Maintenance Pillar deployment across siteWhat can you expect from Mars?Work with over 130,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by The Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we're striving to build the world we want tomorrow, todayBest-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.Wrigley is proudly part of Mars, Incorporated, the company behind some of the world's best loved brands.
