Key responsibilities will include: Providing emotional support and mentoring to students experiencing difficulties Monitoring attendance, punctuality, and engagement, and intervening where needed Supporting behaviour management strategies and restorative practices Building positive relationships with parents/carers and external agencies Promoting positive wellbeing and resilience through small group workshops and 1:1 support Assisting the safeguarding team in identifying and responding to concerns Working closely with the SENCo, Heads of Year and Designated Safeguarding Lead Ideal Candidate We are looking for a graduate who is: Empathetic, patient, and emotionally intelligent Interested in adolescent mental health, behaviour, and social development A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills Able to build trust and rapport with young people Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn from experienced staff Degrees in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Sciences or related fields are especially welcomed, though all graduates with a genuine passion for supporting young people will be considered.
