Job Title Sales Manager - Mid-Market (Specialist Sub-Contractor Team) Location UK - London, UK - Milton Keynes, UK - Leeds, UK - Newcastle, UK - Remote Business Sector AECO – Architects, Engineers, Construction & Owners Job Overview Trimble is seeking an experienced Sales Manager, ideally with experience in the Construction Tech space, who will take ownership of our Go-to-Market strategy for the Specialist Sub‑Contractor business. In this market, you will be responsible for increasing market share across multiple AECO products and for providing leadership and direction to a team of six BDMs. As our Specialist Sub‑Contractor Sales Manager, you’ll partner with your fellow Mid‑Market Sales Managers and the Sales Managers for our SMB and Enterprise teams to maximise cross‑selling and upselling opportunities across our AECO product portfolio. Through your leadership and strategic sales development, you will deliver targeted business outcomes, great customer experience, and growth in revenue, consumption and usage for Trimble. Location & Travel Ideally you will be based within a commutable distance of one of our UK offices, but for the right candidate this role can be fully remote. You will need to be comfortable with roughly 50% travel, predominantly across the UK. Key Responsibilities Execute the go‑to‑market strategy to achieve revenue objectives and develop long‑range strategy for your sector Lead and empower your team to deliver business results Create a team of successful sellers by hiring, developing, and training Provide accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management on a weekly basis Monitor and track sales activity and results of the team Maximise share of wallet, achieve targets, and win against competition with flawless execution Establish plans for retention and continued development of key sales talent and ensure teams are equipped with products, systems, and selling‑skills training Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to senior sales leadership Required Skills & Experience Substantial and proven sales management experience, including leading Business Development Managers Experience in a SaaS company, specifically supporting New Logo/Cross‑Sell Sales Strong knowledge of the construction and/or AEC industries (a plus) Experience in Estimating software or Steel and Precast Fabrication/Design Software (desirable) Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence others to achieve strategic and financial objectives Ability to recruit, hire, train, manage, motivate, and develop a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and effective feedback Ability to deal effectively with high‑level executives internally and externally Expertise in selling strategies, methodologies, and strategic planning and execution Excellent time management, decision‑making, and presentation skills Up to 50% travel required About Trimble Trimble is a technology company dedicated to the world’s tomorrow, delivering solutions that enable customers to work in new ways to measure, build, grow and move goods for a better quality of life.
