Service / Maintenance Technician – Virtual Bridges My client based in Northfleet requires a Mobile Fitter to start ASAP. We are looking to interview now, start January. You will be covering a mapped‑out area of Northfleet and surrounding areas. Job Description Mobile fitter responsible for maintaining equipment used on major housebuilding and construction sites. Responsible for training customers’ operatives in the safe use of the equipment. Working from a fully equipped mobile workshop, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing specialist equipment. Full training will be given providing you with an extensive skill set spanning both mechanical and electrical disciplines. You will also be responsible for training our customer’s operatives in the use of the equipment using a structured training system. Customer care will be your principle priority in ensuring market‑leading service. Key Responsibilities Servicing and repairing specialist equipment from a fully equipped mobile workshop. Providing training to customer operatives in equipment utilisation through a structured system. Ensuring high‑level customer care and market‑leading service standards. Managing workload from home to on‑site locations as required. Adhering to standard working hours Mon‑Friday 6 am‑4 pm, with overtime and occasional Saturday mornings when busy. Essential Job Requirements Full UK driving licence suitable for a 3.5‑ton van. Previous mechanical or electrical fitting experience preferable; full training will be provided. Ability to communicate effectively within a key customer service role. Working independently from home address, organising workload. Basic salary: £35,000+.
