With a focus on major OEM technologies, they deliver comprehensive field services, inspections, and overhauls to clients worldwide.They are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Paisley, Scotland.In the role, you will support all aspects of the business requiring mechanical-engineering input, working in accordance with the Health, Safety, and Environmental rules, while ensuring that all activities align with the company’s quality procedures and objectives.Job Profile for Senior Mechanical EngineerResponsibilitiesPrepare proposals and review tender specificationsCreate and check tender and contract documentation, including drawings, schematics, specifications, parts lists, technical descriptions and supporting documentsCoordinate technically with vendors and subcontractors, including attending meetings, inspections and testsPlan projects and support technical aspects of commercial discussions with customers and suppliersDevelop models, drawings and specifications for gas turbine components and assembliesProvide technical support during gas turbine overhauls and undertake site secondments as requiredPrepare installation procedures, method statements and risk assessmentsRespond to internal and external technical enquiriesReview and action production concession requests and non-conformance reportsAddress repair process issues and support development activitiesConduct root cause analyses in collaboration with field teams and customer representativesCarry out site surveys as requiredCandidate Profile for Senior Mechanical EngineerMust be fluent in English, both written and spokenDegree in mechanical, production or manufacturing engineeringGood working knowledge of Microsoft packagesStrong communication and organisation skillsAbility to analyse, solve and communicate complex technical problems and their solutionsWhat Our Client OffersPension planOpportunity to work in a leading global engineering service providerOpportunity for a long-term careerSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑time #J-18808-Ljbffr
