0.5 Early Years Education Assessor and Business Development OfficerEarly Years Education are a high performing department within this highly successful Further Education College. If you are passionate about shaping the future of early years professionals, we are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Early Years Apprenticeship Assessor and BDO. We are looking for an assessor to support apprentices working towards level 2,3 or 5 early years apprenticeships.The role of the assessor is to support Early Years Education apprentices with all aspects of their programme. You will be the main link between the college, employer and apprentice throughout the apprentices’ time at college. You will complete progress reviews, set out and devise agreed training plans to ensure on- and off-the-job training is well-coordinated, complete observations within settings and mark assignment work for apprentices working towards accredited early years qualifications as part of their apprenticeship.This post provides an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Early Years Education and Childcare who is keen to support our professionals of the future to gain the knowledge, skills and experience they need to succeed in their future careers. You will work closely in this role with teachers of early years to ensure a well-coordinated programme for apprentices.Part of the role is also business development where you will continue to build on the colleges’ positive reputation for providing early years apprenticeships.
