In this critical role you will support our commitment to delivering best‑in‑class service, ensuring a legacy of absolute quality and compliance. We operate 24/7 and your hours will be flexible; you will be required to work weekends and participate in an on‑call rota. Full training, PPE and company equipment will be provided. Location: Deepham Sewage Treatment Works, North London Region (Enfield, North London) Job Type: Permanent, full‑time Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours plus every other weekend (working both earlies and lates) Salary: OTE £37,000 per annum (made up of basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses) Benefits: 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays), health cash plan, free onsite parking, auto enrolment pension scheme, friendly working environment. Responsibilities Travelling to residential sites in a van you are responsible for, around the region, powering a high‑pressure water jet for restoration Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided Run diagnostics and repairs on drains Delivering good customer service Maintaining good health and safety practise while carrying out works Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished Comply with health and safety responsibilities, i.e. PPE / safe site setups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public and other road users Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms Work unsupervised in all weather conditions, wearing correct PPE and utilising the lone worker system Dynamically risk assess site access and working conditions depending on specific circumstances on arrival Liaising with the client regarding process and any updates Provide support to your colleagues Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before and after use Report any defects or malfunctions Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them Any other reasonable ad‑hoc tasks, duties or projects as requested by management About You The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
