Senior Mental Health Practitioner

The role will involve working with young people with a range of complex presenting problemsand will include direct therapeutic work. We have regular education sessions that are led by different members of the multi-disciplinary team and visiting professionals that aim to keep us all updated with the latest and best clinical knowledge. You can expect plenty of support, training and opportunities to develop and progress your career with us.Working as a registered practitioner with a client group with stable needs, under supervision.The management of a defined caseload with thesupport and supervisionResponsible for the joint assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of serviceuser care packages, in consultation with the Care Co-ordinator.To work towards and participate in the model of care appropriate to area i.e. the social inclusion and recovery with the service user. We have excellent shopping, eating out, top ranking schooling and affordable house prices too.Job responsibilitiesYour personal supervisor will help you to develop skills to carry out the following duties and responsibilities.Responsible for the line management of identified members of the service.To support the development of effective mental health care pathways within the service.Support to service evaluation and audit systems.Support review/development of service wide policies and protocols.Support the establishment of partnerships and networks with key stakeholders. Deputise for Line Manager as required.To be accountable for own professional actions.Participate in mental health promotion.
