From managing leases and maintenance to ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, your contributions will be vital in maintaining a conducive working environment. Key Responsibilities Building Maintenance - ensure all buildings are safe and operational through regular maintenance and repairs Leases - oversee all leases, rent, service charges, and rates. Health & Safety - ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and best practises File Storage - manage the transition from physical to electronic files while overseeing storage solutions. Contract management - maintain relationships with catering and cleaning contractors to ensure high-quality services Budget Management - manage facility budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor expenditures. Space Management - coordinate office moves and refurbishments to optimise space usage. Stakeholder Liaison - communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders regarding facilities issues. Energy & Sustainability - plan and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Essential Skills and Requirements Facilities management experience within a law firm is a must have for this role. Budgeting & Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets effectively. Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to addressing issues as they arise. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building systems and relevant legislation.
