Role OverviewWe are supporting a new package of care in Gerrards Cross (SL9), caring for a bright and resilient 9-year-old girl with cerebral palsy. She lives at home with her parents and siblings. She loves sensory play and has her own sensory room. She also enjoys being read to, singing nursery rhymes, playing interactive games and using her iPad and other assistive technology. She requires 2:1 support both during the day and overnight, which includes respiratory management including deep suctioning, seizure management with rescue medication, as well as assistance with personal care, daily living activities, and home learning. Responsibilities Provide 2:1 support during the day and overnight including respiratory management, deep suctioning, seizure management with rescue medication. Assist with personal care, daily living activities, and home learning. Follow infection control measures and support the family during holidays abroad. Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience, at least one year in complex clinical care. Experience in hospital or community setting strongly preferred. NVQ Level 3 preferred.
