1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from MitieTalent Acquisition Partner - Mitie, UK's leading Facilities Management companyBetter places, thriving communities.Job OverviewTo carry out suitable fire risk assessments in accordance with the relevant legislation on behalf of our clients on a wide variety of sites across the UK.To work efficiently within agreed timescales, managing workload in conjunction with office-based staff.Deliver a good quality comprehensive fire risk assessment suitable for client needs.Main DutiesConducting site-based inspections within a variety of sectors, including industrial, commercial and residential within a specified timescale.Carrying our FRA's using an app either on a tablet or phoneRegular communication with the back-office team to co-ordinate assessment data through to report completion.The role will involve extensive travel throughout the UK staying away from home as and when required.Act as a representative of Mitie whilst on client sitesWhat we are looking forYou will need to have as a minimum a NEBOSH Fire Certificate (full) or other recognised fire qualification. It will be necessary to provide evidence in respect to experience, knowledge and qualifications in undertaking fire risk assessments. A qualification in Health and Safety would be an advantage.You should have a proven track record in producing high quality detailed FRA reports.A full driving license is essential for this role.You will need a can-do approach and a helpful hands-on attitude, as well as great attention to detailAble to work as a member of a teamAble to work without direct supervisionAble to conduct surveys throughout client sitesAble to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the companyOur market-leading offering provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.We have a virtual GP on hand for you and members of your household.
