We push the boundaries of material science to engineer solutions that continually exceed customer expectations.From belts and hoses used in motorcycles, conveyor belts, cars, tractors, blenders, vacuum cleaners, bicycles, and 3D printers to other applications, Gates delivers.ResponsibilitiesAs a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting and maintaining manufacturing technology systems, ensuring reliable operation of shop floor systems, and contributing to the deployment of SAP S/4HANA.Support and maintain manufacturing IT and OT hardware and software applications.Ensure seamless operation of MES, QMS, CMMS, and SCADA systems.Assist with technology stacks including Wonderware/Aveva Intouch/Historian, Microsoft, and SAP Manufacturing (PM, QM).Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure compliance with service delivery and change management procedures.Provide hands‑on support and troubleshooting for shop floor systems to maintain uptime.Contribute to ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation and IT/OT integration projects.Keys to SuccessKnowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures within a specific area of expertise.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo supervisory responsibilities; accountable for own contribution.Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression.Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.Receives considerable instruction, guidance, and direction from others.Applies general business knowledge developed through education or past experience.Solves routine problems using existing procedures and standard practices.Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.Exchanges basic information, asks questions, and checks for understanding.Requirements and Preferred Skills0-1 year(s) of experience in IT/OT support within an industrial or manufacturing environment.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and SQL databases.Familiarity with SAP Manufacturing, Wonderware, Aveva systems, or similar industrial software platforms.Good understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Flexible and adaptable, with a hands‑on approach to problem solving.Why Gates?Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
