Our client, a leading company in the building services sector, is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team. This role offers the chance to work on exciting and high-profile projects, including cutting-edge data centres, within an innovative and supportive company culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, specify, and deliver electrical systems for building services, with a strong focus on data centres.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of technical documentation, calculations, and reports.
- Attend client meetings and site visits as necessary to ensure design integrity and project progress.
- Work across the full project lifecycle from initial concept through to delivery and handover.
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering within the building services sector, specifically data centres.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
- Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux).
- British passport holder with the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ideally, at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role (Intermediate level) or 5+ years (Senior level).
