Hackajob Bournemouth, England, United KingdomJob SummaryAs a Software Engineer III - Cloud at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology and Operations division, you will join our innovative team to design, develop, and optimize cloud‑based applications and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient cloud solutions that meet our business objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement cloud‑based applications and services.Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure cloud solutions are aligned with business goals.Optimize cloud applications for performance, scalability, and security.Develop and maintain APIs and microservices for cloud applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud applications and services.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Stay up‑to‑date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud applications.Document technical specifications and design patterns for cloud solutions.Required Qualifications, Capabilities & SkillsFormal training or certification on Computer Science concepts and proficient applied experience.Experience in cloud development, with a focus on application design and development.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and cloud‑native databases.Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.Experience in terraform.About UsWe recognize that our people are our strength and the diverse talents they bring to our global workforce are directly linked to our success.
