Cleaner – NRG Riverside Join to apply for the Cleaner role at NRG Riverside. We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Cleaner to join our Widnes depot on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows established cleaning routines, and can work both independently and as part of a team. Who You Will Be Working For NRG Riverside is the UK’s largest municipal and specialist fleet hire company, providing specialist vehicles on short and long‑term hire, a range of vehicle maintenance packages and a portfolio of high‑quality used vehicles for sale. Established in 1996, we support customers to rationalise and decarbonise fleets, save money and improve efficiency by reducing ‘Vehicle Off Road’ time. Qualifications & Experience Experience in a similar cleaning role Good attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills Can work independently and as part of a team Reliability, responsibility and a flexible approach to work Cleaning experience preferred; full training will be provided if necessary Familiarity with health & safety regulations Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Key Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting) Clean and sanitise toilets, kitchens and common areas Empty bins and ensure proper waste disposal Restock supplies (paper products, soap, cleaning materials) Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces as needed Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets and upholstery Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or damages to the supervisor Follow all health, safety and hygiene guidelines Store and handle cleaning equipment properly Assist with deep‑cleaning tasks or special projects when required Benefits Excellent depot‑based bonus of up to £500 33 days annual leave (inclusive of statutory) Salary Sacrifice pension Employee Assistance Programme OnDemand GP and face‑to‑face counselling sessions Online health advice portal Benefits portal with retail, leisure and holiday discounts Dedicated training and development to support your career Refer a friend bonus (up to £2,000) Death in Service (available from day one) Wellbeing programme Free onsite parking Free uniform How to Apply We accept applications in all varieties.
