Specialist Sleep & Respiratory Physiologist Location: Cromwell Hospital, Kensington, SW5 0TU.Full time (37.5 hours). Permanent. Competitive salary. What You’ll Do Deliver comprehensive respiratory and sleep diagnostics for adult and paediatric patients, including lung function testing, allergy studies, bronchial provocation, CPET, HPVT, and fitness‑to‑fly assessments. Provide specialist sleep and ventilation services, including polygraphy, polysomnography, CPAP/NIV support, and advanced investigations such as MSLT, actigraphy, and TcCO₂ monitoring. Support documentation development and implementation for procedures and equipment. Oversee routine calibration and maintenance of diagnostic equipment and manage stock control. Act as a role model and mentor junior staff, supporting training and team development. Collaborate with consultants, nurses, physiotherapists, engineers, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and support service growth aligned with hospital expansion. Maintain high clinical standards and patient‑centred care across all procedures and support governance, incident reporting, and quality assurance. Qualifications BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology or equivalent specialist training. Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in respiratory and diagnostics. Registration with RCCP, AHCS, or equivalent; ARTP membership or RPSGT certification desirable. Strong communication and analytical skills. Experience working with both adult and paediatric patients and understanding of private healthcare service delivery. Teaching experience and a collaborative, growth‑oriented mindset.
