An excitingopportunity has arisen at our established and busy Practice for an ClinicalAdministrator to join our team at the Phoenix Health Group.Main duties of the jobAdministration team duties include:To ensure that administrative systems are inplace to help clinicians meet the clinical requirements of the GPcontract/QOF/Enhanced Services etc.Provide administrative support to helpclinicians maintain high standards of care across all clinical areas throughaudits, register checks, templates & coding, protocols, patient recall etc.To ensure that administrative systems are inplace to help the Practice maximise its income for clinical work done.To register new patients and to keep existingpatients registration details up to date.About usWith a large clinical team supported by experienced Patient CareAdvisors and administrative staff, we look after over 25,000 registeredpatients. We are based at four sites inand around Cirencester and Tetbury. Everyone working in the Practice is valuedfor the role they play in providing a high-quality service for our patients.Job responsibilitiesObjectives ofthe Admin Team:To ensure thatadministrative systems are in place to help clinicians meet the clinicalrequirements of the GP contract/QOF/Enhanced Services etc.Provide administrativesupport to help clinicians maintain high standards of care across all clinicalareas through audits, register checks, templates and coding, protocols, patientrecall etc.To ensure thatadministrative systems are in place to help the Practice maximise its incomefor clinical work done.To register newpatients and to keep existing patients registration details up to date in linewith the NHS spine.MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES:Maintain longterm condition registers. Monitor the patient list and send invites to patientsaccordingly. Monitor achievement of the QOF targets on a regular basis. Liaise with the relevant clinical staff toaid achievement of QOF.Clinical codingof documents on patient medical records.Summarisingincoming patient medical records accurately and in a timely manner.Managing incomingand outgoing records as well as request from surgeries for patient summaries.Managing incomingexternal and internal emails and tasks to the team.Ensuring allsafeguarding documents are coded and information sent to GP and or socialworkers in a timely manner.Monitoring highrisk drug blood monitoring ensuring patients are called in for appointmentswhen required and followed up.Other duties as reasonably requested bymanagement.SHARED RESPONSIBILTIES:Work with therest of the Admin Team to make sure that patient registrations (includingchange of address requests etc.) are completed in a timely manner. Also ensurethat all processes relating to patient registrations (e.g. Workflow screens, GPLinks, Dashboard and filing of new patient registrations) are completedregularly and that registration details and registration status information on ourclinical system is accurate and up to date.Person SpecificationExperienceGood standard of education, including qualifications in English and Maths.Competent user of Microsoft Office software, including basic knowledge of Excel.Experience of working in an office environment.Experienced administrator.Experience of working within Primary Care.Qualities/AttributesMust be accurate, with attention to detail as a priority.An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality.Ability to use own judgement, resourcefulness and common senseOrganised.Ability to cover for colleagues planned and unplanned absence.Pleasant and articulate with a sense of humour.Ability to work under pressure and able to use own initiative.A team player who has the ability to work within a multi-skilled team.Knowledge of medical terminology.Knowledge/SkillsExcellent keyboard and computer skills.Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. #J-18808-Ljbffr
