Astute's Power Team is partnered with a global company, who specialise with the Energy from Waste industry, to recruit for a Mechanical Technician to join their new EfW Power Station in Slough, Berkshire. The vital Maintenance Supervisor role comes with a salary of up to £63,996 + £2,500 call out allowance + Bonus + Private Medical + Pension + Benefits. If you're an experienced maintenance technician/supervisor and are looking to work for a leading organisation who invests in training and professional development of their employees, then upload your CV to apply today Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including Superuser administration, preparation of delegated work packs, scheduling, and inventory control. Coordinate, schedule, and track all routine and preventive maintenance activities. Collaborate with the team and management to plan outages in line with the business plan. Develop and implement an inspection and monitoring program to ensure equipment and plant performance is optimized, reducing the risk of incidents or failures. Organising and executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Administer and maintain the preventative maintenance schedule Professional qualifications Ideally have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering A health and safety qualification such as an IOSH will be highly advantageous Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge Prior hands‑on maintenance experience working with Mechanical, Electrical or C&I equipment Excellent knowledge of CMMS systems including implementation and development Prior experience working in heavy engineering environments such as Power, Steel, Cement, Pharmaceutical, COMAH, Paper Mills, etc Royal/Merchant Navy Marine Engineers will also be considered for this opportunity Salary and benefits of the Maintenance Supervisor role A competitive salary of up to £63,996 Call out allowance of £2,500 Bonus Private healthcare Other benefits INDPOW Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
